Mother’s day with sabian

UPDATE:

Happy Mother's Day! The whole family got together to celebrate. Sabian had a great time with some dog friends as well as his humans. He has also taken a big step in his recovery. He has now walked up and down the stairs by himself a few times. Since the seizure he has needed to be either carried or just very closely assisted so this is a very exciting event. Mother's Day was particularly great because he was so cheerful and had more energy than we've seen in a while. After so many difficult days our optimism has been replenished.

The weather was perfect and seeing him surrounded by so many people who love him and are all cheering for him was fantastic, if not a little overwhelming. We're so proud of our boy and wanted to share this milestone. He still has a long way to go but seeing glimpses of him reclaiming his old self really reinforces our confidence in his strength.
